Back in London: A Few Thoughts from Our 2026 London Christian Tour
Looking back on our 2026 London Christian Tours trip, one of the moments I keep coming back to is standing in the British Museum with our group, pointing out pieces of biblical archaeology and watching people realize just how much history is sitting in those galleries.

I’ve been through the museum many times, but I still love that experience. There are few places where so much of the ancient world connected to the Bible is gathered under one roof. Egypt, Assyria, Babylon, Persia, Greece, Rome. You can move from one civilization to another in a matter of minutes and stand face to face with objects made by people who lived in the same world described in Scripture.
That’s probably the part I enjoy most. Not just showing people an artifact, but helping connect it to the bigger story. A name they’ve read before suddenly has a face, a place, an inscription, or a piece of stone attached to it. History becomes a little less distant.
This London Christian Tours event was a good reminder of why I enjoy doing this so much. I like London, I like the museums, and I never get tired of wandering through old churches and historic streets, but the best part is getting to experience those places with people who are curious and excited to learn.
Every group brings a different personality to the trip. Different questions, different conversations, different moments that end up becoming the things you remember afterward. That’s one of the things I enjoy most about the people who join us for a London Christian Tours trip.
By the end of a trip, it’s usually the smaller moments that stick with me anyway. A conversation over dinner. Someone noticing a detail in a museum case. Walking back through London after a long day and talking about what we just saw.
I’m already looking forward to doing it again.
